Skill Test Requirement: Candidates shortlisted in the Computer-Based Examination must appear for the Stenography Skill Test.Dictation Details:

Duration: 10 minutes
Language: English or Hindi (as chosen by the candidate in the online application)
Speed for Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 100 words per minute (w.p.m.)
Speed for Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 80 words per minute (w.p.m.)

Transcription: The dictated matter must be transcribed on a computer.

Computer-Based Exam: Objective-type multiple-choice questions.

Total Duration: 2 hours (2 hours and 40 minutes for candidates with scribes).

OTR Registration: Complete one-time registration on SSC’s new website ssc.gov.in if not done yet.
Photo Upload: Upload a live photo through a webcam or the official SSC App with a light/white background.
